5:30 am for adult lap swimming.
6:00 am begins open swim.
Pool closes at:
8:00pm when UCPS is in session
9:00pm from UCPS is out for summer break
The pool deck needs to be vacated before the scheduled closing time. Habitual violators will have their pool privilege revoked for the season.
If you have an outstanding balance on your account, your pool key will be disabled. Please contact Braesael Management to address your balance so that your key can be enabled.
If your key fob is not working, and you believe your account is in good standing, please contact Braesael Management. Once your account is confirmed to be in good standing a new key fob will be issued at no charge.
If you lost your key fob and need a replacement, the cost is $25 (pickup) or $33 (shipped). Please complete and submit the Key Fob Request Form
The following actions may result in pool privileges being revoked for the season:
Opening the pool gate for others that do not have a key fob of key fob that is disabled.
Propping the gate open.
Please be aware that violation of the pool rules can lead to suspension or revocation of pool privileges for the season!
Parents and Guardians: Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult homeowner or tenant and monitored at all times. Children ages 14-17 may use the pool without a parent or guardian present.
No glass containers are allowed inside the gate at any time. Any broken glass found in the pool or on the pool deck will result in the pool being closed for approximately two weeks while the pool is drained, cleaned, and refilled. This expense is more than $1,000. If the offender is found, they will be required to reimburse the Board for the expense!
The Association does not provide lifeguard services at the pool. It is up to the users to be aware of the stated rules and safety precautions to be observed when around our swimming pool. Your acceptance of the pool key fob , and use of the pool constitutes your acknowledgement that you have read and understand the importance of adhering to these rules and other accepted rules of courtesy and good behavior when around and using the pool and its associated facilities, and further constitutes your waiver of any liability on behalf of the New Towne Village Homeowners Association and its agents.
The following rules apply to the use of the community pool.
No running inside the pool fence at any time.
No boisterous or rough play, or foul language. Footballs, baseballs and other sports equipment is not allowed in the pool enclosure, only pool appropriate toys.
No diving is permitted because of the shallow depth of the pool.
Children under the age of 14 cannot be inside the pool fence without adult supervision.
Adults should not swim alone. Please use the ‘buddy system’.
No illegal drugs or substances are allowed at any time.
NO SMOKING inside the pool fence or at the entrance gate.
No glass objects are allowed inside the pool fence.
People with open sores, wounds, infections or communicable diseases are not allowed in the pool or pool area.
Pets or animals are prohibited from the pool area, except service dogs as per Sec. VII above.
Hours of operation are set at the beginning of each season, and will be subject to change based on weather conditions, pool conditions and scheduled community functions. Propping open of the gate at any time is expressly prohibited, and anyone doing so will face suspension of pool privileges.
The telephone at the pool is for emergency use only, to call 911 if needed.
Parties
Private parties will be allowed, but must be approved in advance by the Board and follow the below guidelines.
Must be small events and numbers expected disclosed to board.
There must be at least one adult New Towne Village resident present for the duration of the party.
The host must be a resident or tenant of New Towne Village.
The purpose of the party must be personal to the host family; e.g. birthday, anniversary, graduation, and the like. No third party groups will be allowed; e.g. no office parties, fundraisers or outside groups.
The pool will NOT be closed during the party. Residents of NTV will be allowed to use the pool, subject to the maximum number of people permitted in the pool at any one time.
The host will be responsible for participant’s behavior, clean-up after the event and adhering to posted pool hours of operation. Any additional cost incurred by the Association for cleaning or repairs will be passed onto the party host.
Private parties at the pool must be held during normal pool hours.
The community pool is for the use of the residents of New Towne Village and their guests. The Association reserves the right to deny access to the pool if in its sole opinion the privilege is being abused. The pool may also be closed occasionally during the season as a result of storms, or for normal or other required maintenance. Please note that new high definition video cameras have been installed to provide 24 hour surveillance of the pool and surrounding area. Recordings will be retained and reviewed as complaints are received or other circumstances warrant. Violations recorded may be the subject of action by the Board. Violations that are recorded and are serious enough in nature to constitute crimes will be provided to the Sheriff’s Dept. for investigation if deemed appropriate.
