Hi, my name is Amy and I am seeking re-election to the HOA Board because I value being actively involved in our community. During my time on the board, I've worked hard to support ALL community events, I've encouraged and supported neighborhood improvements and ensured responsible use of our HOA funds. I started volunteering in 2016 whenever help was needed for our social events. I feel it's been important to serve behind the scenes before having a board position. This was confirmed when the previous HOA president, Wally, sought me out because he knew I would be a valuable contribution to our community. With your support, I'd be honored to continue representing our community and building on the progress we've made together!
I’ve lived in NTV since 2013 with my husband and two daughters. We love this community and the neighbors/friends we make year in and year out. I believe we are VERY lucky to have such a small community in comparison to others in the area; it really allows you to get to know everyone on a different level.
Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to see what has worked really well, and from a non board member perspective, the areas that can be built upon and amplified. Communication is key! I’m hoping to bring this along with many other ideas to the table as a new board member, if given the chance.
I’ve been active in the community since shortly after moving in, and it’s been an honor to serve on our HOA Board. During my time on the board, I’ve focused on keeping our neighborhood connected & running smoothly. I established and now run our annual fishing tournament; revived & organize our Christmas & Easter events; encourage neighborhood enhancements & meet with vendors to ensure issues are resolved and work is carried out efficiently and transparently.
I believe deeply in the value of volunteering and giving back to the place you call home. I also serve on the Wesley Chapel Elementary PTO and the WCWAA Baseball Board - being part of something meaningful and community-driven is important to me.
I love being part of what makes this such a great place to live, and with your support, I’d be honored to continue representing our community!
Elections are held every year at the Annual Meeting in November. Notice of this meeting goes out not less than 60 days and not more than 10 days before the annual meeting (ByLaws 4.2).
There are a total of 5 seats on the Board. Depending on the year, there are either 2 or 3 seats up for election. Each is a 2 year term (ByLaws 5.2). For 2026 we have 2 seats open.
For the annual meeting to be called to order for the elections, a ten (10) percent quorum must be established (ByLaws 4.4).
This means 19 lots MUST be present either in person or via a proxy. If you cannot attend in person, you can download the proxy form on this page, fill it out, and hand it to a Board member or another Owner who is planning to attend in person. This persons vote is multiplied by the number of proxies they turn in.
You can nominate yourself or be nominated by someone else (ByLaws 6.1). If you would like to be on this years ballot, please submit the election candidate form.
If there are fewer candidates than open seats then there is no vote, and the candidates automatically win the seat(s).
If there are more candidates than open seats then there is a vote, and the candidates with the most votes win the seat(s).
Board members must attend at least 75% of meetings. Meetings are monthly on the 4th Thursday of the month.
Board members must actively participate in their duties of a Board member in addition to:
Having working knowledge and understanding of our ByLaws, CC&R's, and handbook.
Timely review and response to emails & ARC request.
Actively participate in regular discussions and cast votes when required.
Maintain confidentiality of item discussed in executive sessions.
Work with vendors including meeting them onsite.
Address community concerns within the bounds of powers of the Board.
Bring a positive and collaborative attitude.
If you feel you can meet these requirements and want to help better our community, let us know by filling out the 2026 Election Candidate Form below so that you can be added to the ballot.
If you are unable to attend the Annual meeting but want to have your vote counted, you can print a proxy form, fill it out and sign it. Then hand it to anyone who is planning to attend the meeting in person, This persons vote count will include your vote. The proxy does not allow you to stipulate who you want to vote for so make sure the person you are handing it to is voting for who you want.
